Space1 Short Term Satellite

Space1 has invented the STS Short Term Satellite. STS is designed to function as a normal satellite except it will be deployed as a short term drop device not placed in complete orbit. The partial infinitesimally curved orbit of the STS will allow it to drop back to the Earth under the influence of gravity. To extend the time of the flight, the STS will float back to the earth with resistive technology.

It's not uncommon to find satellites of various designs with varied purposes. One can find nano satellites, those for communications, military and testing. The STS is ideal for ranging communications, EOS Earth Observation System, and gradient weather analysis. One rocket can deploy multiple satellites for conducting simultaneous tests. One example is a drop test involving ten satellites each carrying a different parachute for testing. As the satellites are released at the same nodal point, identifying features of each parachute is made obvious.
