Space1 has invented the RTR for rocket fuel tanks. The RTR or Rocket Tank Reinforcement is the judicial application of a method to increase the strength of a standard pressurized tank, whether it be for a habitat on the Moon, an in flight pressurized rocket fuel tank, or atmosphere-holding space station. RTR will provide longitudinal and/or lateral reinforcement to pressurized tanks. It's currently estimated such reinforcement can prolong the life of the tank, and improve pressurization by 20%. Tank pressurization burst tests will provide more information.
